Destiny 2 is Bungie's shared-world first-person shooter, originally released on PlayStation 4 in September 2017.
What is the game?
Guardians fight alien factions across planets and destinations, collecting loot and running strikes, raids and PvP. It is an online-only game with a persistent world.
What about the original campaign?
Bungie moved the Red War campaign and several destinations into the Destiny Content Vault, so they are no longer part of the live game. A disc from 2017 now installs the current free-to-play version rather than the original story.
Is online required?
Yes. The game requires an internet connection and PlayStation Plus.
